Role Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision:
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and support staff.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure workloads are evenly distributed and deadlines 
are met.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure professional growth 
and continuous improvement.
Client Management:
• Serve as the main point of contact for a reduced portfolio of clients, ensuring strong, 
long-term relationships.
• Oversee the delivery of accounting services, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a high level of 
client satisfaction.
Practice Operations:
• Oversee the efficient workflow of the practice, ensuring adherence to deadlines, 
budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and best 
practices.
• Implement and maintain internal processes and systems that improve operational 
efficiency.
• Monitor and manage practice profitability, ensuring the practice runs effectively and 
meets financial targets.
• Working with staff members in other parts of the Danbro Group on projects, as and 
when needed. 
• Ensure the practice operates to the required levels of quality and compliance, such as 
AML, CCO, KYC etc.
Strategic Planning & Development:
• Collaborate with Head of Accounting to develop and implement strategic business 
goals and plans 
• Proactively develop and execute initiatives for practice growth, both in terms of new 
services and the existing client base, in order to increase the EBITDA delivered by the 
practice.
• Help set and monitor financial and operational KPIs for the practice.
Technical Expertise:
• Stay up to date on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry trends to ensure the 
practice remains compliant and competitive.
• Review and advise on complex accounting issues and financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other financial 
reports for clients
What Skills are required
Qualification and Experience:
• ACCA (or equivalent) qualified/ working towards a qualification, and/or qualified by 
experience
• Demonstrated the ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Previous people 
management experience is desirable. 
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle complex client issues with professionalism and confidence.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
• Sound understanding of tax laws and financial regulations
