Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am - 5pm Mon - Fri)

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Jubilee House. The team are responsible for maintenance, repair and refurbishment within a managed service office building. Reporting to the Head of Facilities this role needs someone who has a basic understanding of general maintenance of a building and facilities. It requires someone who can work unsupervised and liaise with a variety of staff, suppliers, and tenants.

Role Responsibilities 
  • Support the Facilities & Maintenance departments with the upkeep of Jubilee House to provide an environment that is fit for purpose.  
  • Complete all jobs to a high standard to maintain the rental value and desirability of properties within the company portfolio.
  • Deliver a fast and efficient maintenance/repair service, to the customers of Jubilee House, keeping the disruption to a minimum, in support of their business success. 
  • Maintain an efficient monitoring & retrieval system for all archived documents to comply with GDPR, Data Protection and ISO27001.
  • Assist the Facilities & Maintenance Managers with projects and ad hoc jobs covering all the properties owned by the company to maximise income potential from rental and ad hoc bookings.
  • Provide a prompt opening service each morning, for the customers of Jubilee House.
Assist with the moving of furniture and equipment, as required, to support the changing needs of the business we host.

What Skills are required
Qualifications & Experience 
  • GCSE standard passes in Maths & English, or equivalent are desirable.
